Tonight was the culmination of two nights and four hours spent learning two simple chants and a dance routine at a cheer camp for

elementary-aged kids put on by the high school's varsity cheer squad. While Little Sister was not officially involved, she made sure that she wasn't left out on the first night of practice.

Tonight was the big night, the halftime performance at the football game where all the girls could showcase their newly acquired

skills. The Girl was disappointed to find out that she didn't get to spend the entire game on the sidelines but that disappoint-

-ment quickly faded when her partner in crime arrived at the stadium. The halftime show was a huge success even if a

bit chaotic and I loved watching (As best I could while still managing to hold onto a very unhappy Little Sister who was violently trying to writhe her body out of my grasp and screaming bloody murder at the top of her lungs thanks to the mascot of our home team. Despite the fact that the mascot was down on the track and no where near us.) the Girl and Miss A gettin' their cheer on.
