10 Months!!
Oh my!
Every night before bed I read a few Bible stories to the Girl from her children's Bible. Last Thursday we were reading about Jesus washing the disciples' feet. Jesus began to speak of the betrayal and all the disciples wanted to know which of them would betray him. Jesus answered them, "The one I give this piece of bread to." He handed it to Judas saying, "Do what you must." And Judas left immediately. Upon hearing this, the Girl piped in, "It's like America's Next Top Model, if you don't get a picture you have to leave." Ha, guilty as charged!! I must now reluctantly admit that I watch America's Next Top Model and that the Girl has obviously seen her fair share of episodes to know the drill. I like to think that, like myself, the Big Guy upstairs got a good chuckle out of her remark.

Devotion and an adoring fan
messier than it normally is, before quickly realizing that it didn't matter. So what if it were to get out-of-hand messy? The Girl was eager to try her hand at food delivery and why on earth would I stop her from trying to help out?! As it turned out, the Girl and Baby Sister as a feeding duo quite possibly made less of a mess together than Baby Sister and I at mealtimes over 90% of the time. Maybe it was a combination of the utmost of care that the Girl took in making sure that every heaping spoonful found it's way to Baby Sister's mouth and the way in which Baby Sister opened oh-so-wide to receive those much-larger-than-Momma-gives-me bites to impress her Sister. Whatever the case may have been, one thing is certain, I love the utter devotion that the Girl has for her Baby Sister and the complete and total adoration that is written all over Baby Sister's face in response.

Happy Birthday J!!
Thirty-one years ago today, J was born. In honor of the occasion he took the day off and we spent the day together at...
Clap, clap!
On Saturday Baby Sister achieved another motorskill milestone (say that 5 times fast!!) - she figured out how to clap!! I'd like to think it was because she wanted in on all of the clapping and cheering that the Girl and Miss A were doing for their pedaling Dads.
