Say what?!
So the Girl had seen previews on tv for 'The Grinch' and wanted to watch it. Mind you, this wasn't the original with it's charming animated characters, it was the more recently real-life depiction portraying Jim Carrey as the Grinch. It was on Christmas night and I obligingly recorded it for the Girl to watch later as we had them in bed early to go sledding the next morning. I figured she would forget about it but that was not the case and we watched it yesterday, even Little Sister. The same Little Sister who is terrified by Santa apparently has no problems with a hairy green monster. In fact, she loved him. Every time a commercial came on she would exclaim, "Moy Bitch!" Please pardon her french. I'm not one to swear, on my blog or anywhere else, but those were the exact words out of her sweet little mouth. In all her innocence, J an I could not help but crack-up at what she intended to be, 'More Grinch!'

Late in the afternoon the snow started flying and Lil Sister was enjoying more G'ma time!Saturday, December 25, 2010

The Nutcracker
This is our 4th year at The Nutcracker - mine and the Girl's. {The giant cookies at intermission are always a hit.} The past three years we've been joined
by friends and two years ago a three-month old Little Sister came along. But this year she went with Daddy to decorate cookies at Grandma's house. I'm sure she would've enjoyed it - at least the first 20 minutes or so before becoming restless and wanting to abandon her seat. Next year she'll join us once again and then it will be Baby Miss's turn to wait a few years. Aside from the performance and the cookies, the Girl and
