As in 7 pounds 13 ounces!!! In a mere 26 days our little peanut has gained 1 pound and 10 ounces! What?! I know that most of you are probably laughing at me right now but seriously this is unchartered territory for us. At three months, Little Sister barely weighed 9 pounds and averaged weight gain of just one pound per month, less than 1/2 ounce per day. In fact, we spent so much time with the lactation nurse that she became a friend! Thus the weigh-in. I dropped by lactation services this morning out of curiosity and my friend weighed her. They like to see a minimum weight gain of 3/4 ounce per day...Baby Miss is gaining at a rate of 1.6 ounces per day! She's our little chub, at least chub by our standards. No scrawny baby this time around!
