Summer has arrived. Or has it?! Maybe it's not official until tomorrow. Either way, it doesn't much matter as this evening was summer-worthy. The first evening where it actually felt like summer could be upon us. No better reason to break out the wagon for an after-dinner, after-bath (for Baby Sister anyway) stroll through the neighborhood. The conditions were perfect - cloudless blues skies, the sun glowing as it started

its descent in the west, warm but with a gentle cool breeze. Sadly our wagon hasn't seen many miles. It has sat neglected in the garage for most of the past nine months as we got it for Baby Sister on her 1st Birthday and shortly thereafter we invested in the double jogging stroller with its smooth ride and nimble maneuverability. But there is just something about a red wagon and summertime. They go

together like frosting and sprinkles, peanut butter and jelly, stars and stripes. Besides, a red wagon makes for much

better pictures, in a way that a double stroller
never could. Even if one of the subjects riding in the wagon didn't want to be

photographed. So tonight we welcomed summer, the promise of better weather and the prospect of more wagon rides.
