Playdate

Costco, it's not just for buying things in bulk. It also makes for a great playdate. They may be sitting in the cart now but by this point they'd already watched a trailer for the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie, lounged on a plush sectional, climbed a mountain of area rugs, raced to see who could make it to the end of the toilet paper aisle first and had their fill of samples (or as I like to call it, lunch) - prunes, toast, rice chips and a cracker smeared with a sun-dried tomato spread. And all of this while their Moms were filling the cart with Turbo Tax, socks, apples, a salad spinner, toilet paper, applesauce, Parmesan cheese, Craisins and frozen blueberries.
Baby Sister meanwhile was content to manage, sort and tear the coupons.
