Startin' 'em early!!

Saturday we went to watch our beloved Cougars play their second game of the season. Of course we were all decked out, especially the Girls, in our Cougar attire. As we were crossing the street to the stadium, the police officer directing traffic said, "Startin' 'em early, eh?" Absolutely. This was the Girl's 5th or 6th Cougar football game and Baby Sister's first. We like to show our support and give credit
where credit is due. We credit our alma mater with a lot of things, not the least of which is our marriage, as WSU is where we
met - the week before classes even started - fell in love and created many fond memories together. If that weren't enough, we also walked away with degrees from a wonderful academic institution and formed lasting friendships with incredible people. So, despite having a football team that is down 21-0 after just the first quarter of play, we are proud to claim that we are Cougars through-and-through.
Baby Sister was busy getting her pre-game thumb-sucking on while the team was taking the field and the rally squad was flying the flags.
While Baby Sister's game-time snack of choice was a banana...
....the Girl's was cotton candy. Of course. Seriously, that was all she could talk about from the time we got within sight distance of the stadium, that and the lemonade that Gramma had promised. Her dinner that night consisted of red licorice, a fun-sized Snickers bar and bag of peanut M&M's, cotton candy washed down by lemonade and french fries.
No doubt the only reason she enjoys going to the games is because of all the junk she is allowed to eat.
Baby Sister and Aunt B.
Making goofy faces with Papa.
Smiling for the camera, a rarity for the Girl these days. Normally she doesn't want to be bothered by the Paparazzi but when the Paparazzi offer chocolate in return for a smile the results are immediate.
Baby Sister proclaiming with her finger that the Cougs are Number 1. Ah, ignorance is bliss!!
Still smiling, even after a loss and a long day. Baby Sister was saying 'cheese' with me all the way back to the car, actually it's more like, "chuzzzzzzz" when she says it. See her tongue, that's her drawing out the "zzzzz" sound. At least one of them likes the camera!
