Today was an official 'Snow Day.' Big flakes. Snow accumulation. No school. All culminating for a day of fun in the snow.
At one point, it was snowing so hard and the flakes were so big that the accumulation of the snow on the Girls' hats occurred within just a matter of minutes. And I love how Baby Miss looks disgruntled in this picture.

The parents got a workout.
Of course there was sledding. We live at the bottom of a sizable hill which is perfect for sledding...an added bonus that never even came to mind when we bought the house.
For as reluctant as Little Sister was about the idea of sledding, after she tried it she was hooked!I loved looking back through my pictures and seeing her facial expressions. This one is a classic.
Brings new meaning to the term 'dog-sledding.'
After dinner and before the day was over, we reconvened for some more sledding.
