Today was her 6th birthday and in lieu of a party she wanted to go to Great Wolf Lodge. Lucky for us, her family extended
an open invitation for us and a few other families to join them. So on New Year's Day we gathered up our little wolf pups and headed out. The Girl made quite a splash immediately upon arrival...
and our wee one took like a fish to water.
She crawled on hands and knees until the water in the kiddie pool became too deep, then she transistioned to a bear cub crawl (hands and feet with tush up in the air) and would've continued deeper and completely submerged had we let her.
There were four families and nine kids (three 6-year olds, one 5-year old, three 3-year olds, one 1-year old and one 8-month old). Nothing better than making memories with friends.
This one was absolutely smitten with the water. She didn't care if it was splashing her in the face or if she was submerged.
The Girl's favorite was the wave pool. Baby Miss liked it too. Whenever we put her in the water belly down she'd start stroking
simultaneously with both arms and start kicking both legs furiously. She looked like a little frog and she moved with such urgency. It was hilarious to see. Little Sister was a bit more timid and preferred the splash areas to the pools and slides.
But, unbeknownst to her, this huge bucket was constantly being filled and every couple of minutes it would do...
this.
And once, Lil Sis got caught under the splash as it cascaded down.
The Girl and J had fun going down the tube slides together.
