Today was the start of spring break, not such a big deal considering that the Girl has already been off from school for a week due to conferences, but to make it feel special we kicked off the week with a trip to the science center. After spending 45 minutes outside in the cold, wet, drizzle waiting in line {guess every one else had the same idea} we finally made it inside and hightailed it to the butterfly

pavilion to thaw out in its balmy 80 degree weather. The Girl was very interested in identifying the different types of butterflies

and knowing their names. With a little help, she became our resident expert and tour guide, pointing out butterflies,

locating them on her chart and informing us of their names. As for Little Sister, she much preferred to view the ones that were at

rest as opposed to the ones in flight.
