Kindergarten Registration

Yesterday morning after I picked the Girl up from preschool, we headed to the school that she will be attending in the fall and armed with a mound of paperwork and her birth certificate, registered her for kindergarten. Sniffle, sniffle. The Girl, who was quite intrigued by the thought of a new school was astutely observing her surroundings and cheerfully pointed out that kids got to be "doorholders" at this school too while she watched the a.m. kindergarten class pass single file through a door to the outside courtyard.
