(In a singsong voice) Spring is here, spring is here, it's the best time of the year. Despite the dark looming cloud overhead, spring seems to have arrived early as these plum trees have been in full bloom for over a week now. These trees line either side of the street all the way through our neighborhood. I heart them!! I also heart the sound of frogs croaking a loud chorus in the greenbelt behind our house at night. Also a sure sign that spring is just around the corner.
Another thing I heart - my time in the car with Baby Sister, especially when it is just the two of us. When she doesn't have the distraction of her Big Sister sitting beside her, Baby Sister is a chatter-box. I love, love, love driving down the road with her incessant chattering coming from the back. I glance quite frequently in the rearview mirror to see her gazing out the window and just talking, talking, talking. The sound of her sweet little voice is music to my ears.
