Hard to believe that on this day and at this time
seven years ago I was in a hospital bed just an hour away from meeting the little baby that was turning
somersaults in my belly and filling my heart with joy. She entered the world at 12:36 Mountain Standard Time, weighing 6 pounds 13.9 ounces and stretching to 19 1/4 inches in length. I'll never forget how, moments after birth, as she lay on my chest, she reached up and wrapped her tiny fingers around my thumb. J and I were instantly smitten. Little did we know how much she would (and continues to) teach us or how time would begin to pass exponentially more quickly than what we had previously known.

I still can't believe how much hair she had! That is crazy! The girl was such a beautiful baby!
