We have some major fashion trending at our house as of late. Like shoes fashioned out of nothing more than paper, ribbons and stickers. The Girl is a creative genius. From shoes she moved on to leg warmers and then purses. Fashion Penny is the name of her boutique which she aptly set up in her room, the direction to which is marked by signage at the top of our staircase. 
Baby Miss proves that the swim cap is not just a necessity for the pool. It can be a versatile accessory to any outfit. (She digs it out of our swim bag and practically begs to wear it with a series of, "Uh, uh, uh's" followed by rapid flapping of the swim cap until someone obliges her request.)
And then there are of course the bangs. I thought they looked good on the Girl when she requested them at our last haircut appointment but I was troubled when Little Sister started asking for them two days ago, knowing as she did that we would be getting haircuts today. I was in love with her long locks and the way her hair naturally parted on the side and swept across her forehead. Who knew bangs would look like this on her?! Wowza!
