We spent another afternoon in the park. The further we get into winter and thus the closer spring comes, we start feeling the call of the outdoors. Today the sun beckoned us but by the time lunches were eaten and the baby was fed, it's warm rays had all but disappeared. But once the park has been mentioned, it is a promise that cannot be reneged on.
And so we went. Glad that we did. We only stayed for an hour, the cold prevented us from staying any longer, but it was worth it. There was a bit of this and a bit of that, hanging from bars, climbing, slipping down slides and for Little Sister, lots and lots of racing around.
Hiding in bushes was also involved. They climbed in so far that they asked for help getting out. Us Moms just laughed and
replied, "No way! We're not coming in after you!" As for this wee one, just watching all of the action was enough to wear her out.
