This afternoon the Girl and I spent some time in the kitchen doing something we haven't done for a while - bake!!! It has been far too long since we've had cookies from scratch, that we've baked ourselves, together! It was a recipe meant for Christmas cookies as they were chocolate peppermint but what better way to use the leftover candycanes that were hanging on our tree (which just so happens
to still be up). And Poppie will welcome some home-baked contraband. Of course I had to throw in a picture of this cutie. She is just so darn happy almost all the time.
