Despite the previous night's drama concerning Santa Claus, the Girl awoke on Christmas morning and seemed relatively unconcerned about whether or not Santa had made it to our house. She slept until just after 9:00 and then casually sauntered from her room into ours, climbed up onto the bed, stated that she was hungry and requested a piece of cinnamon toast. Ha! But once she made it downstairs and spied her full stocking she got excited and started shrieking with delight.

These pictures are out of order (Why blogger?! Why?), but as soon as she opened her ballerina outfit she had to put it on and then finished opening her presents in it.
After the whirlwind of gift unwrapping, we spent most of the rest of the day hanging out in our jammies relaxing, watching Christmas movies and playing with the Girl and her new toys. Getting dressed only in the late afternoon as we had invited our neighbors over for Christmas dinner. The evening was spent enjoying their company.
